Painters, sculptors, ceramists, and novices will enjoy my PMC Jewelry Making Workshops. We truly make it easy and fun! Full or half days can be arranged.
Precious Metal Clay or PMC was developed in the early 1990s in Japan by a Mitsubishi metallurgist, Dr. A. Morikawa. The material consists of microscopic particles of pure silver, gold, or bronze in a water-soluble non-toxic binder that burns off when fired to 1460 degrees in my kiln.
Students will mold, sculpt, texturize, and form shapes with the medium. I fire and polish the pieces for you. Costs per workshop vary from $95- $140 dependent on the price of silver.
